Zamakona Shipyards finalized its project of two twin vessels for the transport of live fish for the Norwegian shipowner Sølvtrans. The first of them, RONJA POLARIS was delivered in October 2013 and the second, RONJA HUON in September 2014.
Both ships have a capacity of 3.000m3, which allows them to transport up to 450 tons of fish. Ronja Polaris and Ronja Huon are specialized in the transport of live fish such as salmon, trout, and other farmed species, for which they have the latest technologies. They are equipped with a watertight transport system that prevents any type of filtration or spillage, which is very efficient to prevent infections from being transferred.
