Armón Vigo Shipyard delivered Bylgia in July 2013 to the Dutch shipping company Heerema Marine Contractors. This Anchor Handling Tug will be used in transfer and anchoring operations of oil and gas platforms. The Vigo factory finalizes the second unit of the contract signed with Heerema, named Kolga, and is 78 meters long.
The Bylgia stands out for its large fuel storage capacity of 2.500 cubic meters, enough for the ship to navigate between Rotterdam and Cape Town (South Africa) without refueling.
