Indonesian Navy Training ship
Freire Shipyard delivered in September 2017 to the Indonesian Navy one of the largest sailboats in the world. Bima Suci will replace KRI Dewaruci, an Indonesian navy training ship since 1953, and its main function will be the instruction of cadets. It has the capacity to accommodate 200 people on board, of which 120 will be cadets in training.
Bima Suci It has 111 m. l.o.a., three masts of 47 m. of height of those that are deployed 3.361 squares m of sail. It incorporates state-of-the-art technology in all aspects and hold a wheelhpuse on the main deck and a second one, with the same equipment functionalities for the training of the cadets.
